Korean Kimchi Soup

Kimchi Jjigae is a famous kimchi soup in Korea. You only need 20 minutes to have a flavorful kimchi soup at home.
- Food preparation: cut kimchi into bite sizes if not ready. Chop tofu into 1-inch square cubes. Wash and cut leek leek diagonally into 1-inche pieces. Peel and mince garlic. Finally, peef off and slide white radish.
- Broth preparation: heat water in a heavy bottomed pot. Add white radish and cook for 8 minutes. Then lower the heat to medium low and cook for another 20 minutes. Add seaweed and remove from heat until cool down.
- Kimchi Soup: heat a pot over high heat,add 2 tbs of vegetable oil, 1 tbs of sesame oil and sesame seeds. Stir well until golden and aromatic. Then add kimchi, 1/2 tsp of sugar, 1/2 tsp chili powder and minced garlic and mix together. Pour the broth into the pot, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tofu and egg then lower the heat to medium low. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and enjoy!
